Sheikh Sultan Mosque in Sweihan: 1,200 Capacity by Lazourdy Contracting

Al Ain, October 27th: The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments unveiled the Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Mosque in the Sweihan area of Al Ain city today. The state-of-the-art mosque was masterfully constructed by Lazourdy Contracting and General Maintenance. The inauguration ceremony was graced by notable attendees including Sheikh Dr. Hazza bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Dr. Mohammed Matar Al Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Mohammed Saeed Al Neyadi, Director-General of the Authority, the General Manager of Lazourdy Contracting and General Maintenance, and several other officials.

The mosque’s heritage design, which can accommodate up to 1,200 worshippers, stands as a testament to Lazourdy’s construction expertise and dedication. Beyond the impressive design, the mosque is thoughtfully equipped with facilities serving male and female worshippers, the differently-abled, and it also features a residence designated for the mosque’s Imam.
